Director - Resource Acquisition and Management - World Vision - Toronto

Job description
This position is responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic direction for the Resource Acquisition and Management (RAM) Department, meeting annual revenue targets and operational objectives as specified in the RAM Annual Operating Plan, as well as the implementation of the Programs & Policy (P&P), RAM Strategy. The RAM Director is responsible for overseeing Business Development, Project Design and Development, Project Management and Compliance, and Resources In-Kind business units. The Director reports to the Vice-President, Programs & Policy.
Leadership, management and staff development

Drive and nurture the growth and diversification of P&P revenue streams: ie. public and private cash grants and in-kind resources for WV's ministry
Collaboration & Donor Relations - Lead successful engagement with new clients and partners for acquisition and management
Product Development - ensure a pipeline of new 'product offerings' and new opportunities for resource acquisition
Engage with the WV Partnership, Global Centre, World Vision Canada Leadership and P&P Leadership Team

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree required with evidence of continued professional development that supports resource acquisition.
Masters Degree is highly desired.
Proven experience in strategic leadership and management; advanced experience in grant and contract acquisition, with a minimum of ten years of experience in acquiring contracts from CIDA, multilaterals and foreign government ministries and corporations and other agencies.
Evidence of experience in increasing revenue acquisition from public and private donors/partners, grant/contract portfolio, corporations, agencies and diversifying client list.
Experience living and working within developing country and/or working with partners in developing countries.
Broad sector knowledge and professional experience in international development.
Demonstrated strong ability to facilitate multi-stakeholder engagement and partnering skills.
English written and oral fluency required, fluency in French or Spanish highly desired.
