Director - IT Project - CIBC - Toronto


Job description
As an IT Project Director, you will join CIBC’s Technology department to manage the day to day project or Program activities. Main responsibilities include:
Performing high tactical business planning and return on investment analysis
Managing relationships between business partners
Leading RFP, vendor evaluation and selection process

Job Requirements
Proven leadership experience with knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others
Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
Must have knowledge of organization’s total information technology (IT) environment
Proven ability to manage programs and projects that are over $3 million

Must have Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Must have 8 – 10 years of experience in project delivery and/or project management discipline
